Finance Business Partner – MCV

About the role

The Finance Business Partner for MCV will support the commercial and operational teams in Dubai by providing financial insight, analysis, and control across the vessel portfolio. You will act as the finance representative in daily meetings and drive data‑driven decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform vessel‑by‑vessel P&L and variance analysis, delivering actionable insights.
• Implement revenue trend and idle‑fleet red‑flag analyses, and review quarterly initiatives.
• Own receivables, recovery, balance‑sheet reviews, and cash‑flow sufficiency analysis.
• Design short‑route financial models for pricing decisions and conduct competition benchmarking.
• Review charter parties and contracts, flagging clauses that need Ex‑Com sign‑off and identifying revenue‑maximisation opportunities.
• Improve billing processes, strengthen order‑to‑cash, contract management, and credit policies.
• Lead commercial and cost‑excellence projects, supporting MCV valuation and strategic decisions.
• Create dashboards and data books for senior finance leadership and support budgeting, reforecasting, and review calls.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in a finance role with strong analytical capabilities.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial analytics.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across functional teams.
