Finance Controller (OneStream Expert)

About the role

Damen Shipyards Group is seeking a Finance Controller with deep OneStream expertise to lead financial planning, forecasting, consolidation, reporting and performance management across the organization. The role acts as a trusted business partner to finance leadership and supports the company’s finance transformation journey.

Key responsibilities

• Own and support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes, ensuring accurate and timely management reporting.
• Act as the OneStream subject matter expert, driving continuous improvement, automation and optimization of consolidation, planning and reporting.
• Lead workshops, gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable OneStream solutions.
• Maintain strong financial controls, support audits and ensure data quality and compliance.
• Coach finance users, develop documentation and promote best‑practice adoption.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in finance controlling, FP&A or finance transformation.
• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on OneStream experience in a multinational environment.
• Strong business acumen, senior stakeholder influencing and excellent communication skills.
