Finance Manager – Environmental Services Waste Management

About the role

SEGULA Technologies is seeking an experienced Finance Manager / Financial Controller to lead the finance function for a major client in the environmental services and waste‑management sector in Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and compliance while supporting strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present monthly financial performance reports to senior management.
• Coordinate the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasts.
• Produce accurate internal and external financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Maintain and update cash‑flow forecasts and manage treasury operations.
• Oversee accounts receivable, implement collection strategies, and manage accounts payable.
• Handle payroll‑related financial activities and remuneration controls.
• Coordinate with statutory, financial, and local‑content auditors to ensure timely audits.
• Ensure compliance with UAE financial, tax, and corporate regulations, including VAT.
• Develop and enforce finance‑related SOPs, internal controls, and policies.
• Manage banking activities such as transfers, guarantees, hedging, and fixed‑income investments.

Required profile

• Hands‑on finance professional with solid experience in financial reporting and control.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, budgeting, forecasting, and cash‑flow management.
• Proven ability to lead audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Experience in treasury, banking operations, and financial signatory authority.
