Finance Manager

About the role

SPC Free Zone, a business hub in the UAE offering fast-track services for licenses, visas and bank accounts, is looking for a Finance Manager. The role oversees the finance function, ensuring accurate reporting, effective budgeting and forecasting, strong cash-flow control and regulatory compliance, and supports management with timely financial insights.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning; review performance against budgets and targets and run scenario analysis and financial models.
• Ensure timely monthly management accounts, consolidated reporting and executive dashboards, and prepare board presentations and decision papers.
• Oversee cash-flow forecasting, liquidity planning and working-capital management, and challenge unnecessary expenditure.
• Strengthen governance, delegation-of-authority controls and approval processes, and identify financial, operational, regulatory and reputational risks.
• Oversee accounting records and financial statements, ensure compliance with IFRS, UAE Corporate Tax, VAT and transfer-pricing, coordinate external audits and tax filings, and resolve audit findings.
• Review contracts and commercial proposals, partner with operational and sales leaders to improve margins and ROI, and support restructuring and cost optimization.
• Lead improvements to ERP systems, reporting tools and data quality, promoting automation and AI-enabled analysis.
• Coordinate and develop the finance team, set performance standards and mentor future finance leaders.

Required profile

• Chartered professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or CMA is mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or a related discipline; an MBA, MSc in Finance or Accounting is advantageous.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IFRS, consolidation and management reporting.
• Advanced budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and scenario analysis.
• Advanced Excel and experience with ERP and business-intelligence tools.
• Board-level presentation skills and strong written and verbal communication.
