Finance Officer

About the role

As a Finance Officer you will oversee the organization’s financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance with UAE regulations, and effective cash management. You will work closely with management to provide financial insights and support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) in line with IFRS.
• Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, including VAT filing and FTA requirements.
• Perform bank reconciliations, monitor cash flow, and manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Process payroll in accordance with UAE Labour Law and the Wage Protection System, handling salaries, overtime, deductions and end‑of‑service benefits.
• Conduct financial analysis, identify trends, and produce reports and presentations for senior management.
• Manage foreign remittance transactions, including currency exchange and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain accurate financial records, enter data into accounting software, and keep supporting documentation up to date.

Required profile

• CPA or ACCA qualification (or pathway) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT and labour law requirements.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Accounting software: Zoho, QuickBooks, SAP.
• Financial reporting under IFRS.
• UAE VAT compliance and filing.
• Payroll processing within UAE Wage Protection System.
