Financial Analyst – Retail

About the role

Al-Futtaim Retail, part of Al-Futtaim Group, is looking for a Financial Analyst to support its BP&A team. The analyst provides comprehensive support in strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis, consolidates and circulates financial reports, helps with automation projects and carries out administrative duties. The role calls for timely and accurate work, proactive follow-up and good interaction with team members and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the BP&A team in managing the strategic plan, budget and forecasts, ensuring planning is completed accurately and on time.
• Help prepare, follow up and circulate regular and ad-hoc reports and financial analyses.
• Support the preparation, follow-up and circulation of automation and project reports and analyses.
• Provide administrative support to the BP&A head and team.

Required profile

• Commerce graduate with a specialization in Finance/Systems.
• 4 years of experience in budgeting, financial and management reporting, preferably in the retail sector in the Middle East.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, planning and organizing skills with strong business acumen.

Required skills

• Strategic planning and budgeting expertise.
• Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
• Proficiency in accounting software packages, especially ERP systems like SAP.
