Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

About the role

VAS Global Services is seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to join its Finance team in Abu Dhabi. The role will translate the company’s financial strategy into robust plans, forecasts, models and actionable insights, supporting senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and long‑term financial planning in collaboration with business units.
• Analyse performance, variances, trends and risks, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Develop and maintain advanced financial models, scenario analyses and business cases for strategic initiatives.
• Design and monitor KPIs and dashboards to track company‑wide financial and operational performance.
• Prepare management reporting packages and presentations for the CFO, Finance Director and executive leadership.
• Partner with Investments, Tax, Treasury, Operations and regional finance teams to align financial plans with business objectives.
• Identify opportunities to optimise resource allocation, improve profitability and enhance overall performance.
• Supervise and mentor FP&A analysts, promoting strong analytical and reporting practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment analysis or related field.
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen with ability to translate complex data into clear business recommendations.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills.
• Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Power BI.
• Experience with financial planning and analytics tools such as Adaptive Insights.
