First Aider

About the role

Careers International is hiring a First Aider in Dubai for a civil construction site. The role provides immediate response to injuries, illnesses and medical emergencies, keeps first aid equipment ready, and supports the site's health and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Respond immediately to site injuries, illnesses and medical emergencies.
• Maintain first aid kits and make sure equipment is replenished and accessible.
• Record and report incidents, treatments and referrals according to HSE policy.
• Monitor site conditions and help prevent heat stress and dehydration among workers.
• Support the HSE officer in promoting safety awareness through toolbox talks.
• Take part in emergency preparedness drills and evacuation plans.
• Keep medical documentation and emergency contact records up to date.
• Support health screenings, wellness campaigns and routine checks.
• Talk to site supervisors about health hazards or risks and help comply with UAE labour and health safety laws.

Required profile

• Valid First Aid certification from a recognised training provider (mandatory).
• 1-2 years of site experience in construction or industrial settings.
• Good verbal communication in English; Arabic or Hindi is a plus.
• Ability to stay calm and act quickly in emergencies.
