About the role
The Fixed Asset Accountant will manage and report on the company’s fixed assets, ensuring accurate records, compliance with accounting standards, and support for audits and financial reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and update the fixed asset register, recording acquisitions, disposals, transfers, and adjustments in the ERP system.
- Perform monthly depreciation runs, reconciliations, and ensure proper capitalization of assets, including CWIP clearance.
- Conduct periodic physical verification of assets and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Prepare fixed‑asset schedules for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and assist with audit requirements.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of fixed‑asset accounting principles and GAAP/IFRS compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
Required skills
- Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables).
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite (Fixed Asset modules).
