Flight Operations Support Director

About the role

The Flight Operations Support Director will manage a portfolio of airlines in the Middle East region, acting as the liaison between Airbus Flight Operations Support & Training Standards and operator flight‑operations and training departments. The role focuses on building trusted relationships, addressing operational issues, and promoting Airbus and Skywise products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and follow‑up flight operations and training matters with operators, providing technical assistance and ensuring timely resolution of queries.
• Promote Airbus and Skywise standards and products, demonstrating operational benefits and encouraging adoption.
• Identify and report safety issues, contribute to safety enhancement initiatives, and gather intelligence for product development.
• Maintain regular communication with operators through visits, meetings, calls, and digital channels, fostering long‑term trust.

Required profile

• Deep experience in the flight operations domain, preferably with a background in airline flight operations.
• Strong customer‑service orientation, excellent communication and presentation skills, and ability to work autonomously under pressure.
• Willingness to travel regularly and proficiency in English (Arabic is a strong advantage).
