About the role
The Flight Operations Support Director contributes to the Regional Flight Operations Support office and manages a portfolio of airlines in the region. Reporting to the Head of Flight Ops Support – AMESTL, the role ensures strong relationships with operators and promotes Airbus flight operations and training standards.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and follow‑up flight operations and training subjects with operators, providing technical assistance and ensuring issues are addressed promptly.
- Promote Airbus and Skywise products and services, demonstrating operational benefits and encouraging adherence to standards.
- Identify and report safety issues, contribute to safety enhancement initiatives, and gather intelligence for product development.
Required profile
- Deep experience in the flight operations domain, preferably with an airline background.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work autonomously under pressure.
- Willingness to travel regularly; English at negotiation level required, Arabic advantageous.
