Florist Team Leader – One&Only One Za'abeel

About the role

The Florist Team Leader will design and maintain high‑quality floral arrangements for public areas, guest rooms and special events at One&Only One Za'abeel. You will ensure seasonal decorations are fresh, on‑trend, and aligned with the resort’s luxury standards.

Key responsibilities

• Create and refresh floral displays in public spaces, F&B outlets and guest rooms daily.
• Review, prepare and process daily and monthly flower standing orders.
• Receive, inspect and report any damaged or spoiled flowers to management.
• Order flowers according to demand and maintain optimal stock levels.
• Develop and follow replenishment schedules for all resort areas.
• Prepare monthly flower expense and cross‑charge reports for finance and executive housekeeping.
• Maintain a clean, organized flower room and ensure proper storage to extend flower life.
• Coordinate deliveries and installations with suppliers, ensuring quality and timeliness.
• Minimize waste, maximize reuse, and stay within budgetary limits.

Required profile

• Proven experience in floral design and team leadership within a hospitality setting.
• Strong organizational skills for managing orders, inventory and budgets.
• Ability to stay updated on current floral trends and incorporate them into displays.
• Attention to detail in quality control and presentation.
