Food and Beverage Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Food and Beverage Supervisor to lead our hospitality team at SO/ Uptown Dubai. Reporting to the Director of Culinary, you will ensure exceptional guest experiences while driving operational excellence across all food and beverage venues.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor food and beverage staff, fostering a high‑performing team.
• Maintain consistent quality standards and flawless service execution.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations, including staff scheduling, inventory control and cost management.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations to guests and promote menu items.
• Collaborate with culinary and front‑of‑house teams to develop new offerings.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and food‑handling regulations.
• Analyze operational metrics and guest feedback to drive continuous improvement.
• Train staff on service standards, safety protocols and proper handling procedures.
• Resolve conflicts professionally while maintaining team morale.
• Operate point‑of‑sale systems and handle administrative duties accurately.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Food and Beverage Supervisor or similar role in a high‑volume hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities with a focus on staff development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective problem‑solving and decision‑making under pressure.
