About the role

The Food & Beverage Services Supervisor for the Lobby Lounge at The Ritz‑Carlton Abu Dhabi Grand Canal ensures that service standards are consistently met and that guests receive the signature luxury experience. This full‑time position leads a team, oversees daily operations, and upholds the brand’s Gold Standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate staff to work as a cohesive team, guaranteeing optimal service and guest satisfaction.
• Inspect staff grooming and attire, correcting any deficiencies promptly.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment, and securing the area.
• Maintain organized storage areas using FIFO principles and ensure cleanliness.
• Conduct scheduled inventories, stock requisitions, and manage supply levels.
• Monitor dining room seating, service flow, safety, and guest well‑being.
• Complete work orders for maintenance repairs and report safety incidents.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, and disciplining employees.
• Uphold company policies, safety procedures, and confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Welcome guests, anticipate their needs, and provide courteous, professional service.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant food and beverage experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• No specific license or certification required.
