About the role

Join the Food & Beverage team at Meliá Desert Palm, a luxury urban resort in Dubai, delivering memorable dining experiences for guests. As a Waiter/Waitress you will provide attentive, personalised service across all restaurant venues, ensuring each guest feels welcomed and valued.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with colleagues from all departments to ensure timely service and smooth operations.
• Greet guests warmly, present menus, take orders, and serve food and beverages with professionalism.
• Prepare and present the bill accurately, handling various payment methods according to hotel procedures.
• Maintain high standards of personal grooming, posture, and presentation at all times.
• Complete closing duties, including cleaning equipment, storing reusable items, and ensuring the service area is ready for the next shift.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic and service‑driven attitude with a passion for hospitality.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow standard operating procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of point‑of‑sale (POS) systems for order entry and payment processing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
