Freelance Finance & Accounting Trainer

About the role

AFTI’s Academy for Finance, Technology and Innovation is seeking a Freelance Finance and Accounting Trainer to deliver high‑quality, instructor‑led sessions for banking and finance professionals. The role is based on‑site at AFTI’s Dubai facilities and involves designing, updating, and facilitating interactive workshops.

Key responsibilities

• Design and continuously update training materials, case studies, and practical exercises.
• Deliver instructor‑led workshops and seminars, adapting teaching methods to diverse learning styles.
• Assess participant performance, provide constructive feedback, and track learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with the training team to refine curricula and support program evaluation.
• Stay current with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and emerging finance and accounting technologies.

Required profile

• Strong background in finance, financial planning, and accounting, with knowledge of reporting standards.
• Demonstrated experience delivering classroom or workshop‑based training to adult professionals.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field; professional certifications (CPA, CFA, ACCA) are a plus.
• Proven experience in banking or financial services and prior corporate training experience.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site in Dubai and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
