Frontline Retail Positions – Supermarket & Hypermarket

About the role

GMG, a global well‑being retailer, is expanding its supermarket and hypermarket network in the UAE. We are looking for enthusiastic frontline staff to join our stores in Dubai, covering bakery, butchery, fishery, kitchen support and receiving functions.

Key responsibilities

• Baker: Prepare and bake a variety of fresh breads (Arabic, French, Portuguese), weigh and mix ingredients, operate bakery equipment, label products, coordinate supplies with the warehouse and maintain hygiene and safety standards.
• Butcher: Cut, trim and prepare meat cuts to customer specifications, display products attractively, rotate stock, provide product recommendations, ensure strict hygiene and safety, and monitor inventory levels.
• Fishmonger: Clean, fillet and prepare seafood, display and rotate stock, inspect quality and labeling, maintain a clean work area, offer customer service and track inventory.
• Commis Chef: Assist chefs in the central kitchen for all UAE stores, support food preparation, cooking and plating, follow food‑safety procedures, manage stock rotation and work collaboratively with senior chefs.
• Receiver: Scan supplier barcodes accurately, perform blind and manual checks, record incoming stock and support inventory management.

Required profile

• Previous experience in the relevant area (bakery, butchery, fishery, kitchen or receiving).
• Strong attention to hygiene, safety and quality standards.
• Customer‑focused attitude with good communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced retail environment and as part of a team.
