Full Stack Engineer – FinTech

About the role

Hoxton Wealth, a global financial services firm, is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to develop and enhance its core fintech platforms. The role involves end‑to‑end delivery of features across the front‑end, back‑end and data layers, working in a regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain full‑stack features using PHP/Laravel, Node.js and Vue.js.
• Develop and document RESTful APIs with proper versioning, validation and security (e.g., JWT).
• Integrate third‑party services such as payment gateways, KYC/e‑Sign and banking rails.
• Model, query and evolve relational databases in MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Deploy cloud‑native services on AWS (S3, ECS, SQS) and manage CI/CD pipelines with Docker, Jenkins and Git/Bitbucket.
• Identify performance, scalability and reliability concerns early and propose solutions.

Required profile

• 4–7 years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in fintech or other regulated sectors.
• Proven ability to own production features from design through deployment and iteration.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and capacity to work independently on complex tasks.
