IT Specialist – Projects

About the role

The IT Specialist – Projects will monitor and track IT resource utilization across projects and change requests, ensuring timely reporting of gaps and demand mismatches to protect delivery timelines. The role also supports accurate cost and resourcing decisions through timesheet validation and executive dashboard maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor IT resource utilization, flagging gaps to leadership and maintaining a demand pipeline via IT Service Management and project management tools.
• Validate and report timesheets, build executive dashboards using Monday.com, and facilitate CAPEX/OPEX tracking with Finance.
• Liaise with internal functions (IT, HR, Finance, Procurement) to resolve operational dependencies and oversee open requisitions, onboarding progress, and skill mapping.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in IT PMO, project delivery or coordination.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are preferred.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for tracking, reporting and executive presentations.
• Hands‑on experience with project management tools, preferably Monday.com.
• Working knowledge of ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceDesk Plus) and IT infrastructure, applications and enterprise systems.
• Experience in IT capacity management, including timesheets, utilization and capacity planning.
