General Cashier / Finance Officer (8‑month mission)

About the role
The General Cashier/Finance Officer will support daily financial operations at Sofitel Dubai The Palm, ensuring accurate cash handling and financial reporting throughout an 8‑month mission.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily cash handling, deposits, and cash reconciliation, including credit‑card transactions.
- Prepare and verify daily cash reports, maintain records of receipts and deposits, and monitor outstanding payments.
- Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting activities, supporting month‑end closing.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, financial controls, and confidentiality of financial information.
Required profile
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality finance environment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and numerical accuracy.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
