General Engineering Engineer – Hotel Maintenance

About the role

The Engineering team ensures the hotel’s facilities are fully operational and available for guests. This role is responsible for maintenance planning, preventive upkeep, and rapid response to any breakdowns, supporting a 5‑star hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct all operational tasks in the Engineering department according to service standards and procedures.
• Oversee repair, preventive maintenance, and reconstruction work to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Develop and maintain functional emergency recovery plans for hotel assets.
• Proactively communicate with colleagues to minimise guest disruption and ensure swift service recovery.
• Go the extra mile to prevent complaints and uphold guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• Minimum certification in Maintenance Engineering or a related technical field.
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar engineering role within a 5‑star hotel or hospitality company.
• Good knowledge of preventive maintenance practices for hotel assets.
• Ability to work in a performance‑driven culture and prioritize guest interests.
