General Fitter – Mechanical Maintenance

About the role

The General Fitter is responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment and systems within the property, ensuring reliable operation through preventive maintenance and timely troubleshooting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on mechanical equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues promptly.
• Install, dismantle, and assemble mechanical components using appropriate tools.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications for accurate repairs.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems.
• Execute repairs and replace faulty components to maintain optimal performance.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and uphold a safe work environment.
