General Foreman

About the role

We are seeking an experienced General Foreman to lead multiple crews on construction sites, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Site Manager and Site Engineers to implement building design specifications and meet project deadlines.
• Prepare and allocate work programs for foremen and their crews, ensuring thorough understanding of drawings and specifications.
• Plan, schedule, and assign daily/weekly tasks for several crews while enforcing safety standards, work hours, and efficiency.
• Recommend manpower needs and ensure availability of safety equipment, tools, and materials.
• Provide daily/weekly progress reports to the Site Manager and resolve schedule delays.
• Deliver monthly/quarterly manpower forecasts based on the project schedule.
• Verify and approve timesheets, monitoring overtime to control costs.
• Coordinate work between CDC and contractor personnel to maximize efficiency.

Required profile

• Secondary School Certificate with a recognized trade certificate or relevant trade training.
• Ability to read drawings, apply specifications, and manage site material requirements.
• Proven capability to plan and schedule site manpower and complete projects on time and budget.
• At least 10 years of directly related experience with an excellent safety record.
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
