General Handyman – Residential Estate Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking a reliable General Handyman to join our Facilities department at Zimbali Lakes Resort in Dubai. The role involves hands‑on maintenance across a fast‑growing residential estate, ensuring a safe, well‑kept, and visually appealing environment for residents and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the estate.
• Carry out minor painting, touch‑ups and small building repairs.
• Assist with perimeter fence inspections and basic repairs.
• Unblock drains and address minor plumbing issues.
• Install and maintain estate and marketing signage.
• Support common‑area upkeep and provide ad‑hoc assistance during busy periods.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and promptly report maintenance issues.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience as a General Handyman.
• Basic proficiency in painting, carpentry, plumbing and general repairs.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems on the spot.
• Physically fit with a strong work ethic.
• Valid driver’s licence; own vehicle is a plus.
