General Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician (Ken Fix It) to carry out daily general maintenance tasks across our facilities, ensuring a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Repair or replace tiles, flooring, and wall coverings as needed.
• Perform general repairs to block work walls and plaster surfaces.
• Fix damaged shelving, furniture, and other fixtures.
• Execute painting tasks throughout the property.
• Carry out plumbing work, including repairs and silicone sealant replacement.
• Repair or replace broken windows, doors, and locks.
• Adhere to Rotana policies and procedures.
• Report severe damages to supervisors promptly.

Required profile

• Diploma or formal training in general maintenance.
• Previous experience in plumbing, carpentry, painting, or electrical work.
• Good command of English.
• Ability to identify faults and implement effective solutions.
• Self‑motivated, hands‑on, and adaptable to unpredictable situations.
• Proactive, reliable, and able to remain calm under pressure.
