General Manager – Luxury Hotel Opening

About the role

Four Seasons is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the opening of its new luxury property in Luxor, Egypt. Reporting to the Regional Vice President, you will be responsible for delivering the hotel’s launch on schedule and establishing the standards of service that define the Four Seasons brand.

Key responsibilities

• Project‑manage all phases of the hotel opening, from pre‑opening planning to grand opening.
• Build, coach and lead a multidisciplinary team of hotel staff, ensuring alignment with Four Seasons culture and service standards.
• Oversee recruitment, training, and development of all departments.
• Manage budgets, financial performance, and operational controls during the pre‑opening and initial operating periods.
• Collaborate with regional leadership on marketing, sales, and partnership initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, health and safety regulations, and local laws.

Required profile

• Proven track record as a General Manager or senior leader in a luxury hotel, preferably with experience opening new properties.
• Strong leadership and people‑development capabilities.
• Excellent financial acumen and operational oversight.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and build relationships with local stakeholders.
