General Repair Technician – Electric Vehicle

About the role

Join BYD and Al-Futtaim Electric Mobility as a General Repair Technician for electric vehicles. You will work in a fast‑growing EV brand, performing maintenance, diagnostics and repairs while ensuring safety, quality and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, diagnostics and repair work on BYD electric vehicles.
• Perform repairs following EV safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and support electronic vehicle check reporting.
• Maintain workshop safety, quality, 5S standards and a clean environment.
• Meet productivity, utilization and first‑time‑right repair targets.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to resolve technical issues.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or equivalent (e.g., ITI, NCVT, ITC).
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Experience in automotive diagnostics, maintenance and repairs.
• Good understanding of automotive systems and EV technology.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent English communication skills and a passion for learning new EV technologies.
