Generalist Human Resources

About the role

BVLGARI Resort Dubai is looking for a Generalist Human Resources professional to support management and the leadership team with HR issues, and to help employees with transfers and hiring processes. The role also covers compliance monitoring, record keeping, basic payroll support and training new hires.

Key responsibilities

• Assist management and the leadership team with HR issues and resolve them
• Help employees with internal and external transfer requests and procedures
• Monitor and assist managers and supervisors with hiring processes and issues
• Coordinate and run applicant drug screens, reference checks, background checks, motor vehicle checks and social security number verification
• Maintain applicant flow, drug screen, orientation and transfer request logs
• Create and maintain new hire and personnel files and enter them into HR information systems
• Assist with orientation of new employees and train new hires on HR processes, programs, policies and information systems
• Monitor hiring and recruitment processes for compliance with local, state and federal laws and company policies
• Keep employee records and files (interview documents, I-9s) accurate
• Support processing and maintenance of payroll records as needed
• Report employee relations issues to HR management and create and maintain filing systems
• Generate HR data reports as needed, answer calls, record messages and type office correspondence
• Serve as HR subject matter expert and join project teams

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• At least 1 year of related work experience
• No supervisory experience required
• Ability to follow company policies, keep proprietary information confidential and speak clearly and professionally
• Able to move and lift objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance
