About the role
We are seeking a detail‑oriented GL Accountant to join our finance team in Abu Dhabi. You will play a key part in maintaining the integrity of our general ledger and supporting month‑end close processes.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Prepare journal entries and execute month‑end closing activities.
- Perform bank and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare financial reports and accounting schedules.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions.
- Assist with audits, VAT filings, and financial reporting.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and IFRS.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel.
- Experience with ERP accounting systems.
