Global Compliance & Reporting Manager

About the role

EY is seeking a Manager for its Global Compliance & Reporting (GCR) team in Abu Dhabi. The role leads complex tax engagements, drives practice growth, and ensures high‑quality service delivery to multinational clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage client engagements, monitoring progress, deliverables, and risk mitigation.
• Supervise high‑performing teams, fostering a learning culture and coaching junior members.
• Maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships while ensuring compliance with Tax Quality guidelines.
• Implement standardized processes and drive performance‑improvement solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, taxation or related field; advanced degree or professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, CTA, ADIT) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in domestic and international tax rules, tax accounting, and tax auditing, preferably within a large professional services firm.
• Proven managerial, organizational and project‑management experience.
• Ability to work with multinational clients in a multicultural environment.

Required skills

• Strong technical knowledge of tax legislation and reporting requirements.
• Experience with tax compliance and reporting processes.
• Familiarity with tax quality standards and audit procedures.
