Government Relations & Licensing Specialist (PRO)

About the role

The Government Relations & Licensing Specialist (PRO) will lead end‑to‑end licensing, permit applications, regulatory compliance, and government liaison activities across the UAE. This client‑facing advisory role ensures businesses obtain, activate, and renew trade licences, visas and other approvals efficiently and in full compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of client licences and permits, from application to renewal, across Dubai DED, DM, DLD, GDRFA, MOHRE and all major UAE free zones.
• Prepare and submit precise documentation, track application progress and coordinate with authorities to resolve issues and inspection requests.
• Oversee workforce compliance covering work permits, labour contracts, quotas, establishment cards and all visa services through MOHRE, GDRFA, ICP and related bodies.
• Lead immigration operations for employment, investor, partner, dependent, Golden, mission and freelancer visas, ensuring compliance from application through issuance and renewal.
• Maintain strong relationships with government agencies and stay updated on regulatory changes affecting licensing and immigration.

Required profile

• Extensive knowledge of UAE licensing frameworks, Dubai Mainland and Free Zone regulations.
• Proven experience in government liaison, stakeholder management and client advisory services.
• Strong understanding of labour, immigration and visa processes in the UAE.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple applications simultaneously.
