Government Relations Officer – Regulatory Affairs

About the role

The Government and Regulatory Officer processes and responds to requests from courts, police, public prosecution and other authorities across the UAE and Qatar, ensuring compliance, accuracy and risk‑free handling.

Key responsibilities

• Process UAE Court Orders according to approved procedures.
• Handle Qatar Court Orders and law‑enforcement agency requests within defined SLAs.
• Manage police letters and enquiries across all UAE emirates.
• Respond to Public Prosecution and CID correspondence in the UAE.
• Manage inbox and email enquiries from government entities and stakeholders.
• Execute case processing through the Velocity – MOFT system where applicable.
• Ensure all correspondence complies with regulatory instructions and internal policies.
• Monitor, coordinate and follow up on assigned cases to guarantee timely closure.
• Support initiatives that improve operational efficiency and service quality.
• Coordinate with internal departments (CIBG, RBG, Operations, Head Office) and external authorities.

Required profile

• Experience processing court orders and government requests in the UAE and Qatar.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance procedures and internal policies.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders and external authorities.
