Grade Checker – Road & Infrastructure Projects

About the role

Al Marwan Group is seeking an experienced Grade Checker to ensure accurate levels, grades, slopes and elevations on road and infrastructure projects across Sharjah. You will work closely with surveyors, engineers and foremen to verify that construction activities follow approved drawings and specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Check and maintain required levels, grades, slopes and elevations according to project specifications.
• Read and interpret survey drawings, plans and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with Surveyors, Foremen and Site Engineers to confirm correct levels and grades.
• Monitor grading and excavation activities, ensuring compliance with approved drawings.
• Use measuring and leveling tools to verify elevations and gradients.
• Identify and report discrepancies to supervisors.
• Follow all company HSE and safety procedures on site.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Grade Checker on road, infrastructure, earthworks or civil construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of levels, elevations, slopes, gradients and road formation.
• Ability to read and understand civil/road drawings.
• Familiarity with leveling instruments and basic surveying equipment.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• UAE/GCC project experience preferred.
