Graduate Civil Engineer – Ground Engineering (Emirati National)

About the role

As a Graduate Civil Engineer in the Ground Engineering team at WSP, you will support key infrastructure and property projects across the UAE. The position is designed for Emirati graduates and provides structured development, mentorship and hands‑on exposure to geotechnical and civil engineering work.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing technical designs, reports and presentations.
• Coordinate with multi‑disciplinary engineering teams throughout project life cycles.
• Support project documentation and ensure compliance with UAE codes and standards.
• Learn and apply digital engineering tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS and Plaxis.
• Support geotechnical assessments, site investigations and interpretation of ground conditions under senior guidance.
• Attend client and stakeholder meetings and help prepare technical deliverables.
• Contribute to team discussions, problem‑solving and creative design thinking.

Required profile

• UAE national (Emirati) with a valid Emirates ID and Family Book.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Strong interest in ground/geotechnical engineering, site investigations or stakeholder engagement.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, Plaxis or similar is a plus.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
