Graduate Mechanical Engineer – Abu Dhabi

About the role

Joining AECOM's Graduate Program as a Mechanical Engineer in Abu Dhabi offers the chance to work on strategic initiatives and building construction supervision projects. You will develop designs and calculations under the guidance of experienced engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, and project models under guidance.
• Apply design and technical knowledge to produce high‑quality outputs within project timelines.
• Assist in maintaining project budgets and schedules under supervision.
• Collect and analyze information from discipline‑specific and interdisciplinary BIM models.
• Utilize computer software to solve fundamental engineering problems.
• Collaborate with engineers from other disciplines to ensure design continuity.
• Participate in design progress and coordination meetings.
• Review BIM/CAD models for accuracy to ensure quality production.
• Contribute to problem‑solving and drive efficiencies in project delivery.
• Apply theoretical knowledge to solve atypical engineering challenges.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Recent graduate (2025 or 2026) with a minimum GPA of 2.8.
• UAE nationals with a family book only.
• Eligibility for AECOM’s Graduate Program.

Required skills

• BIM/CAD modeling.
• Engineering software proficiency.
