Graduate Mechanical Engineer – Dry Utilities (Emirati National)

About the role

WSP is looking for an Emirati National graduate mechanical engineer to join its Dry Utilities Design team in the UAE. This position offers hands‑on experience on major infrastructure projects, mentorship from senior engineers, and exposure to world‑class design practices.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design and documentation of dry utilities systems and related infrastructure.
• Prepare drawings, design calculations, reports and specifications under senior supervision.
• Coordinate with multi‑disciplinary teams to integrate mechanical designs into larger projects.
• Research and assist in developing innovative, sustainable engineering solutions.
• Review local authority regulations and standards to ensure design compliance.
• Contribute to quality‑assurance processes and maintain project documentation.

Required profile

• UAE national with a valid Family Book.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Fresh graduate or up to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong interest in utilities design and infrastructure projects.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both spoken and written.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD.
• Basic proficiency with design software such as Revit.
