Graduate Mechanical Engineer (UAE National)

About the role

Egis Group is seeking a UAE National Document Controller to join its Dubai project team. The role involves managing all project‑related documents, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements, and supporting the engineering and construction teams on site.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with Project Managers to implement correct document and drawing management procedures.
• Maintain registers of drawings, NCRs, RFIs, and submittals, and monitor response times.
• Archive project directories, manage CD libraries, and control electronic document repositories (Aconex, Prolog, Expedition).
• Issue design drawings to contractors, local authorities, and other stakeholders as directed.
• Handle FTP sites for uploading and downloading documents and ensure proper stamping according to Egis standards.
• Assist with QA procedures, ISO certification implementation, and provide administrative support when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• UAE National status.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using document control software such as Aconex and Prolog.
• Knowledge of filing, archiving, and document management systems.
• Familiarity with UAE construction industry standards and regulations.
