Guest Relations Executive – Food & Beverage

About the role

The Guest Relations Executive in the Food & Beverage department at Madinat Jumeirah Resort welcomes restaurant guests, ensures smooth service flow and supports colleagues to achieve the highest level of guest satisfaction in line with Madinat Jumeirah standards.

Key responsibilities

• Man the hostess desk at all times, greeting guests promptly and escorting them to their tables.
• Take and schedule dining reservations, arranging special services according to the Restaurant Reservations SOP.
• Identify guest needs, including special requirements, and provide appropriate information or assistance.
• Answer telephone calls within three rings using the JI standard script.
• Share guest names and any specific requests with service staff immediately after seating.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu, daily specials, in‑house services and local information.
• Apply the F&B Enquiry/Booking Checklist when handling enquiries or bookings.
• Uphold JI & MJ grooming and presentation standards and adhere to hygiene procedures.
• Assist colleagues when needed and follow MJ customer feedback/complaint procedures.

• Strong attention to personal presentation and adherence to brand standards.

Required skills

• Familiarity with restaurant reservation SOPs and booking checklists.
• Working knowledge of the menu, specials and in‑house services.
• Ability to answer phones using a scripted approach within three rings.
• Understanding of hygiene and service standards in a luxury F&B environment.
