Guest Services Officer – Front‑Desk & Patient Registration

About the role

The Guest Services Officer provides front‑door customer service to patients visiting M42 healthcare facilities, both in person and by phone. The role ensures smooth pre‑registration, registration, scheduling, billing and insurance verification while maintaining compliance with health standards.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome patients, manage check‑in and ensure a friendly experience.
• Register patients in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, capturing demographic and insurance details.
• Verify insurance eligibility, patient identity and out‑of‑pocket responsibilities.
• Obtain required signatures and explain consent documents.
• Schedule appointments, make reminder calls and coordinate discharge follow‑ups.
• Act as liaison between patients, families and clinical teams while preserving confidentiality.
• Collect co‑pays, deductibles and handle cash according to procedures.
• Answer incoming calls, address inquiries and manage patient feedback.
• Participate in department meetings, complete training and meet quality and satisfaction targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of similar patient‑service experience.
• Bachelor’s degree (can substitute for 2 years of experience).
• Strong attention to detail and culturally sensitive communication.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
