Handyman

About the role

The Handyman will work on‑site in the United Arab Emirates, ensuring that Nest & Rest’s holiday homes are safe, functional and ready for guests. This full‑time position involves performing routine repairs, addressing guest‑reported issues, and supporting property turnovers.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out basic repairs such as plumbing fixes, electrical checks, painting, and minor carpentry.
• Conduct routine inspections of each unit and document work performed and materials used.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and property owners.
• Coordinate with specialised service providers when specialised work is required.
• Assist with property turnover tasks between guest stays, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in property maintenance, facilities management or a similar handyman role.
• Ability to diagnose common household issues and perform repairs safely.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with guests, owners and colleagues.
• Excellent time‑management and organisational abilities.
• Valid work authorization in the UAE; a driver’s licence is an advantage.
