Hardware And Technical Documentation Engineer

About the role

Eaton is seeking an experienced Hardware & Technical Documentation Engineer to join its Middle East Engineering Team in Dubai. The role blends electronic hardware development with ownership of all technical documentation throughout the product lifecycle for life‑safety and power‑management solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise, design, develop and validate electronic hardware and PCBA solutions for protection, control, monitoring and life‑safety products.
• Perform analog and digital circuit design, component selection, schematic capture and hardware integration.
• Conduct simulations, prototyping, laboratory testing, EMC/EMI validation, troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis.
• Support product industrialisation, manufacturing readiness reviews and production ramp‑up.
• Own creation, maintenance and release of user manuals, installation guides, maintenance instructions, service documentation and technical specifications.
• Maintain product labels, packaging labels and engineering drawings in compliance with standards and Eaton processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electronic hardware design and validation for safety‑critical products.
• Strong understanding of regulatory standards and product documentation requirements.
• Ability to collaborate with product management, quality, manufacturing and supply‑chain teams.
