About the role
The Head Hostess (Levantera) leads the front‑of‑house team at Marriott Hotels & Resorts in Dubai, ensuring seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate staff to deliver optimal service and meet guest needs.
- Inspect grooming, attire and uniform compliance, correcting deficiencies.
- Perform opening and closing duties, including setup, cleaning, and securing the venue.
- Maintain organized storage areas using FIFO and conduct inventories.
- Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, safety, and guest well‑being.
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating and coaching employees.
- Enforce company safety policies, report incidents and complete required safety training.
- Uphold confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of related hospitality experience.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
