Head of Business Support

About the role

The Head of Business Support will lead analytics, reporting, planning and stakeholder management functions across Julphar’s operations in Ras Al Khaimah. This senior position drives operational excellence, strategic alignment and continuous improvement for the pharmaceutical business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead data‑analytics initiatives using Power BI, Excel, SharePoint and other tools, and produce executive‑level reports.
• Support planning and budgeting cycles through data collection, analysis and integrated reporting solutions.
• Drive strategic alignment across projects, introduce process improvements and manage information flow between business leaders and senior management.
• Coach, motivate and develop the business support team, set SMART KPIs and oversee recruitment, training and performance evaluations.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholder communication, including liaison with partners such as IQVIA and AMS.
• Identify risks, implement mitigation measures and lead continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, pharmaceuticals or a related healthcare discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, medical or related industry, with a focus on business planning, analytics and organizational support.
• Proven ability to manage confidential information and work collaboratively with senior leaders.
• Results‑oriented leadership style with strong stakeholder‑management capabilities.
