Head of Corporate Finance & Investments

About the role

A highly experienced, commercially driven Head of Corporate Finance & Investments is sought to lead group financial management, corporate governance, investment analysis and fundraising across a diversified portfolio of businesses. The role ensures financial integrity, strengthens corporate governance, evaluates strategic investments and supports the Group's long-term financial objectives, working closely with business CEOs, shareholders, Board members, external advisors and investment partners.

Key responsibilities

• Group financial management: oversee financial accuracy and consolidated statements, review monthly, quarterly and annual reports, monitor performance against budgets and forecasts, set reporting standards and internal controls, and act as the financial focal point for business CEOs in budgeting, financial planning and reporting.
• Statutory compliance: prepare and submit VAT and corporate tax returns in line with UAE requirements, ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory deadlines, and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Cash flow and treasury: manage cash flow planning, liquidity, working capital, intercompany financing and capital deployment, and monitor banking relationships and financing arrangements.
• Legal and corporate governance: review commercial, shareholder and joint venture agreements, coordinate with external legal counsel, implement corporate governance frameworks, delegate authority and oversee corporate structures and shareholder rights.
• Joint ventures and corporate transactions: structure new ventures and partnerships, evaluate equity participation, capital contributions, profit sharing and exit mechanisms, and coordinate with legal, tax and corporate advisors.
• Investment analysis and fundraising: assess acquisitions, investments and joint ventures with financial models, due diligence and investment appraisals, and develop teasers, pitch decks and fundraising presentations.
• Fundraising: liaise with fund managers, private equity firms, family offices and financial institutions, coordinate investor discussions and due diligence, and negotiate valuations and investment terms.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline; CA, ACCA, CPA or CFA strongly preferred; MBA or additional qualifications in corporate finance, investment management or corporate governance advantageous.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in financial management, corporate finance, investment analysis and group-level financial leadership.
• Demonstrated experience managing financial reporting and consolidation across multiple legal entities, and strong experience in budgeting, FP&A, forecasting and financial business partnering with senior executives.
• Proven experience reviewing commercial, shareholder and joint venture agreements, and in financial modelling, valuations, investment presentations and capital raising.
• Prior experience with diversified holding companies, family offices, real estate, digital assets, commodities trading or investment groups is highly desirable.

Required skills

• Strong working knowledge of UAE VAT, corporate tax, statutory reporting and audit requirements.
• Advanced financial modelling, analytical and presentation capabilities.
• Ability to independently evaluate business opportunities and investment proposals.
• Strong negotiation, stakeholder management and communication skills.
