Head of Cyber & Information Security

About the role

We are seeking a strategic leader to head the Cyber & Information Security function for a large, multi‑region organization based in the UAE. In this senior position you will shape and execute the overall security strategy, build a high‑performing team and embed a strong security culture across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Define, implement and continuously improve the enterprise cyber security strategy.
• Lead and develop a distributed security team covering SOC operations, cloud, OT/IoT and data protection.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, CIS and other regulatory frameworks across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strengthen cyber resilience and risk management practices throughout the organization.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and business units to promote security awareness and alignment with business goals.

Required profile

• 10‑15+ years of experience in cyber security, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of developing and delivering enterprise‑wide security strategies.
• Experience in construction, engineering, real estate or other OT‑heavy industries is highly desirable.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST and CIS frameworks.
• Expertise in cloud security, SOC operations, OT/IoT security, risk management and data protection.
