Senior IT Technical Lead

About the role

Dubai Insurance is seeking an experienced Senior IT Technical Lead to oversee the design, implementation and governance of its technical and infrastructure landscape. The role is responsible for the full spectrum of compute, system, network engineering and cybersecurity across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows domain, IP network, Storage Area Network and Internet infrastructure.
• Manage Windows, Unix, Office 365 and SharePoint environments, as well as data management requirements.
• Lead database administration for Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server, including backup, recovery, security, performance tuning and scripting automation.
• Supervise IT suppliers, cloud services, SLA reporting and hardware/software acquisition processes.
• Research, evaluate and recommend improvements to existing infrastructure and stay current with technology trends and relevant legislation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of systems and database administration experience.
• At least 5 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of network, system and database administration, especially Oracle and SQL Server.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
