Head of Data & AI

About the role

A well-established financial services organisation is looking for a Head of Data & AI to build and lead a future-ready enterprise Data & AI capability. The successful candidate will act as a hands-on builder, delivering prototypes, automations and production-ready solutions, and must have financial services or investment domain experience.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the enterprise roadmap for data, analytics, automation and AI.
• Build and enhance the enterprise data warehouse and trusted reporting layers.
• Establish and scale an AI Factory, including agentic workflows and internal copilots.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across investments, finance and technology to modernise ways of working.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience across data, analytics, automation or AI, ideally in financial services.
• Strong understanding of investment and financial data, reporting and systems.
• Proven track record building enterprise data platforms and full-stack applications.
• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Finance or a related discipline.

Required skills

• Hands-on technical expertise across modern data, BI, automation and AI tools.
