About the role
GEMS Education is seeking a Head of Department – Science to lead its Science team within the GEMS School of Research and Innovation. The role will shape a research‑driven curriculum across Biology, Chemistry and Physics, integrating emerging technologies to enhance student learning.
Key responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for the Science department.
- Oversee delivery of a dynamic, inquiry‑based curriculum in Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
- Lead curriculum development and ensure alignment with cutting‑edge scientific advancements.
- Support professional growth of science staff and promote interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Contribute to whole‑school initiatives and innovation projects.
