Head of Engineering: Options Trading

About the role

Keyrock is seeking a Head of Engineering for its Options Trading division. The leader will head a team of around seven engineers, driving the development and reliability of systematic options trading infrastructure across multiple exchanges.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and grow the Options Engineering team.
• Design and improve automated quoting, execution, risk controls and pricing workflows.
• Ensure production‑grade reliability and low‑latency performance of trading systems.
• Collaborate with product, research and operations to evolve the systematic options platform.
• Maintain and enhance connectivity to crypto exchanges and DeFi protocols.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in systematic options trading or high‑frequency trading.
• Proven leadership of engineering teams in a fast‑moving, remote environment.
• Based in a European time zone or US East Coast.
• Strong understanding of risk management and production reliability.
