Head of Finance - Transport & Distribution

About the role

A medium-sized organisation in the transport and distribution sector is looking for a Head of Finance in Abu Dhabi. The role oversees all financial operations, ensuring compliance, strategic planning and effective resource management, and leads the finance team in achieving organisational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
• Manage financial reporting and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Develop and implement financial strategies supporting organisational growth
• Lead and mentor the accounting and finance team
• Analyse financial data to identify trends and give actionable insights
• Ensure effective cash flow management and monitor financial risks
• Collaborate with other departments and maintain relationships with auditors and regulators

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA or equivalent
• Proven leadership skills and strong analytical abilities
• Experience in the transport and distribution industry is advantageous

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
